Relationship Advice Tip 1 BRING BACK THE FUN
As time goes by it can be all too easy to forget the small things you shared together, the things you laughed at, the things that you had fun doing together. Start by thinking back to your happier days and make a list of what you were you doing together that made you both happy. It might not be possible to do all of them now, especially if you have kids and or more responsibility at work, longer hours, no home help, however, try for a minute to think about what fun things you could do together that what would fit into your current lifestyle. Even if its just one thing, give yourself time together to laugh and have fun, whether its one evening a week, one morning on the week-end when a friend can watch the kids or one night a month when you can do something you both love. Pick something that will make you both feel good. If for whatever reason you can’t get out or do anything even sitting down together, playing games or looking over old photos of the two of you having fun can instantly make you feel good too.
This is especially key if you find it hard to access positive times and things about your partner. Marriage problems can seem far worse when good memories have been eroded. In order to have a strong relationship, it is crucial to connect to the happy times and make them come alive again.
